All for one and one for all.

The amazing volunteer of the month for April is not one person but three people. Deb Wallace, Maria Ham, and Linda Faire are who we are celebrating and these ladies have definitely earned the notoriety. They have been volunteering their time on Tuesdays at the Spokane Valley Senior Center Silver Café for over 3 years. They are so organized and efficient that the site manager Miriam is able to visit with the guests during lunch and the guests love how they are doted over and how they make them feel extra special. When they aren't volunteering together, they are bowling together on a league and whenever one of them needs some extra care they are always there for one another. So, if you want to meet three amazing individuals, pop on over on a Tuesday sometime and witness what "All for one and one for all, united we stand divided we fall looks like”. Thanks for all you do ladies, you are appreciated.

Yesterday's Meal Still in the Cooler?

Let us know! We want to make sure each of our clients is doing okay, and missing a meal can be red flag. Let us know if there are signs that your client isn’t home or answering the door for a few days in a row. We will reach out to check in on them. If you do find an old meal, please remove and dispose of it - we don’t want anyone consuming spoiled food accidentally.
Warm Weather is Coming
If you have other obligations or vacations coming up, please let us know as soon as possible. The sooner we know, the easier it is to find a substitute to fill your spot.
