Sara has been volunteering with Meals on Wheels GSC for a year and a half, bringing warmth and connection to the

clients she serves. As a city bus driver with STA for the past two and a half years, she’s already deeply involved in helping our community, and volunteering felt like a natural extension of that commitment. After hearing about Meals on Wheels from a coworker, she saw it as a great opportunity to give back in a meaningful way. What Sara enjoys most is how easy it is to make a difference: taking a small part of her day to deliver meals, visit with people who might need to see a friendly face every day, and catch up on her favorite podcasts while she’s out on the road. Outside of work and volunteering, Sara loves spending time with her family and staying connected to the community she helps support every day. Thank you Sara for all that you do!

We Will Be Closed: Monday, September 1st for Labor Day

To ensure our clients are covered during the closure, home delivery drivers will be given extra frozen meals to distribute the week prior. Please keep an eye out for these additional meals and thank you for helping us make sure no one goes hungry! For our servers, there will be no meal service that day. If you usually serve on Mondays, thank you for keeping this in mind. If you’re available to help out on a different day that week, let us know - we’d love the help!
