For the past 3½ years, Susan Wilson has been a dedicated part of the Meals on Wheels GSC community, delivering meals once a week and brightening the days of our clients with heartfelt conversations and compassion. After moving to Spokane, she sought a meaningful way to connect with the community, and Meals on Wheels GSC was the perfect fit.

“The best part,” she shares, “is visiting with the clients—even just for a few minutes. Many are so grateful, and over time, you really do get to know them.”
Outside of volunteering, Susan enjoys the outdoors, concerts, road trips, reading, and bike rides. She also dedicates time each month to volunteer with the Alternatives to Violence Project at the men's prison, teaching conflict resolution and community building. Time with family and friends rounds out a life filled with purpose and connection.

We Will Be Closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th
There will be no meal deliveries that day, and clients will be given an extra frozen meal the week before so they don’t go without. If you usually deliver on Mondays, thank you for keeping this in mind If you’re available to help run routes a different day that week, let us know - we’d love the help!
